Adam Thomas is Media Research Manager with Informa Telecoms & Media. He leads the TV research team responsible for much of the content on the TV Intelligence Centre and World Television Information Service (WTVIS). In his role Adam produces written analysis and forecasts for all of the pay TV platforms (cable, satellite, IPTV and DTT) for countries across the globe. He is frequently quoted in the press and his most recent research projects have focused on the launch of WTVIS, which has seen him produce TV forecasts for 148 markets worldwide.

Adam joined Informa in 2000. Prior to that he was Senior Media Analyst at Market Tracking International where he produced forecasts and analysis for the TV, Film and Games sectors. Adam has also worked as a reporter at CIA Medianetwork’s Channel 11, authored media research analysis for the Corporate Intelligence Group and written for the PSI’s prestigious Cultural Trends journal.

Adam holds a honours degree in Communications.
