Charice Wang is a Senior Analyst with Informa Telecoms & Media. She is responsible for East Asian markets and her current areas of interest include regulation, mobile value-added services, mobile strategies in the areas of mobile applications, wireless broadband, smartphones, and the impact of regulation and convergence on mobile operators’ business models.

Prior to joining Informa Telecoms & Media, Charice worked for the Regulation team at Ovum based in London. She provided regulatory advice to fixed and mobile operators and national regulatory bodies around the world, including comments, reports and consulting projects on spectrum, NGA, net neutrality and convergence. Charice has also worked as a Section Chief at the Chinese central government’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), where she carried out research on China’s entry into the WTO, including foreign investment in the telecoms markets.

Charice holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics (LSE), a master’s degree in Economics & Finance from Curtin University of Technology, Australia, a graduate diploma in International Economics from Adelaide University, Australia, and a master’s degree in Economics from Tianjin University of Economics and Finance, China.
