Julian Jest is a Research Analyst with Informa Telecoms & Media. He plays a leading role in delivering strategic analysis, data and forecasts covering the global mobile handset and smart device sectors, including smartphones and tablets from both a hardware and software perspective.

Julian joined Telecoms & Media, in April 2012. He has worked at Informa for over two years since graduating from university. Julian started out working for Informa Healthcare books where he was responsible for sourcing and maintaining the marketing database. He then moved into a new role providing market research to support new product development initiatives within Informa Custom Publishing for healthcare.

Julian holds a BA (Hons) degree in Classical Civilisations from Roehampton University, where he was an active student speaking on behalf of the University at an academic conference in Glasgow. During this time, Julian also completed an overseas internship at the Tech Museum of Innovations based in San Jose, California.
