Kalyan Medapati is a senior analyst with Informa Telecoms and Media. He currently co-manages one of Informa’s lead database products – WBIS, and contributes to broadband Intelligence Centre with market and business strategy analyses. As a part of his research portfolio, he covers Western Europe and provides oversight on fixed telecoms research in Africa, and occasionally comments on emerging technology trends in Informa’s publications. Research interest includes fixed telecom operators, convergence strategies, telecoms in emerging markets, particularly in Africa.
Prior to joining Informa in 2007, Kalyan was a graduate student at Jönköping University in Sweden.
Kalyan holds an MSc in Economics, and had completed his CFA Level 1 in Dec 2010.
