Nick Thomas is a Principal Analyst with Informa Telecoms & Media, with a key focus on TV and digital media worldwide. In his role Nick covers TV and the evolving media landscape as companies seek to monetize their content across multiple platforms and devices. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences, as well as a regular press commentator.
Nick joined Informa Telecoms & Media in July 2011 as a Principal Analyst. Prior to that, he was a Senior Analyst at Forrester Research, focusing on media and content issues for clients globally. Nick joined Forrester through the 2008 acquisition of Jupiter Research, where Nick led the company’s European media coverage. He previously spent nearly 20 years as a journalist, editor and executive for a range of media companies, including Associated Press Television News and the UK Press Association.
Nick holds a Masters degree in Film and an honours degree in English from the University of East Anglia.
