Reda Haidar is a Middle East & Africa Consultant with Informa Telecoms & Media. He provides consultancy support to Informa Telecoms & Media clients in the GCC and MENA region. In his role Reda works closely with strategy departments at the regional telecom groups to analyse, advise and recommend on the latest developments and operator progress. He is also responsible of establish synergies between the telecom industry and adjacent industries like content creation, banking, health care, and utility in the region. He then works on advising relevant parties on best practices to engage in profitable relationships.
Reda joined Informa Telecoms & Media in November 2010 as a Consultant. Prior to that he was a Research Analyst with Delta Partners Group, working in its central intelligence unit to provide the three divisions of the company – advisory, private equity and corporate finance – with analysis and views on various topics for diverse telecom clients worldwide. Reda has also worked as a Team leader & country manager at Mada Communications, a telecoms vendor specialising in satellite communications for backhaul transmission and international gateways.
Reda holds a Telecommunications Engineering Degree from the American University of Beirut.
